Sierra Leone/OneVillage Partners

  

Working with OneVillage Partners, LHUCC is in the 5th year of this exciting ministry of working alongside residents of three villages in Sierra Leone to move from extreme poverty to self-sufficiency. LHUCC members have joined others from the area to work alongside hardworking Sierra Leoneans in the areas of Water & Sanitation, Health, Education, Agriculture, and Income Generation. Linden Hills UCC provides funding to be used in the villages and also offers financial support to members of Linden Hills Church who travel to Sierra Leone as part of the Onevillage Partners annual village visit.  We who have been following this project celebrate the great strides being made in helping the villages move from extreme poverty to self-sufficiency.
