Christmas Eve Worship
Members of the church, friends, family and neighbors will gather at 7:00 PM December 24th to celebrate the great good news of Emmanuel--God with us, in the birth of Jesus. The service will include beloved carols, choral anthems, prayers and readings that truly celebrate the coming of Jesus. The service is for people of all ages and will be about an hour in length. This is a favorite worship experience for many in our congregation. Please plan to join us, and remember to invite those you think might be looking for a place and people with whom to worship.
Christmas Day Worship
This year Christmas Day is on a Sunday!Worship at Linden Hills will not be held at the customary time of 10:00AM. Rather, we will gather at 5:00pm on Christmas night. The worship will include aspects of the Christmas story but also bring in elements of two other holidays being observed at the same time as Christmas: Chanukah and Kwanzaa. Worship will be less formal, held in Fellowship Hall around table settings symbolizing each of the holidays. All ages are welcome. We will have some special foods and holiday beverages that are part of the these holiday celebration -- including Kathryn Kaatz' latkes! Come join in worship, food and community on Christmas night!
