Simply Jane/Artable Events

Co-Mission with Simply Jane/ArtAble! Please get involved with the very important work that the studio does in providing art programs for ALL ages and to be inclusive of ALL abilities and disabilities:

  • Every third Wednesday we host Pizza Paint Parties - sign up to be a paint buddy! Through the very generous support of the UCC Neighbors in Need grant we invite 20 artists with special needs and paint buddies in fellowship to paint together, share a pizza lunch and honor each others creative gifts with an art show at the end.
  • Join our board of directors! We are currently seeking board members. Details on what this entails can be found here: http://www.minnesotanonprofits.org/job-details?id=128697. You are also invited to an Open House for prospective new Board Members. Please join us on Monday evening February 13th, 6-7pm to meet current board members and learn more about what we do.
  • Share your gifts by volunteering in the studio! Volunteer needs include: marketing, bookkeeping, teaching, washing brushes, answering phones, Listen, Love and share the good word! It's about Peace and Love in the studio!

Thanks, Christmas Gifters!

Outreach would like to thank all the volunteers who provided Christmas gifts for individuals and families through Hennepin County and the TRUST Wreath of Love. LHUCC sponsored 10 families through  Hennepin County and 12 individuals through the wreath of love. The sock and mitten tree was amply adorned with warm clothing each Sunday as well, keeping toes, ears and hands warm this winter.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy holiday schedules to help spread the spirit of the holidays, the presents were warmly received and very much appreciated.
