Outreach

Reflecting Jesus' words in Mark's Gospel, an early and abiding motto of Linden Hills Church is, "Not to be served, but to serve." The people of Linden Hills UCC carry out this gospel mandate through volunteerism, mentorship, financial giving, advocacy and partnerships with community organizations.  There are many opportunities for members and non-members to participate in outreach activities.  Whether its collecting food for the hungry, raising a voice at the State Capitol or pounding a nail to fix a home, you will find LHUCC in the community striving to make our world more just and humane.

Financial Support of Outreach Ministries

In addition to supporting the ministries listed above with time and money, Linden Hills UCC also holds annual offerings for local, national and global ministries including those undertaken by The United Church of Christ.  When disasters, both natural and human arise, we are quick to raise funds to meet these unanticipated catastrophes. Linden Hills UCC also financially supports all aspects of our denomination, The United Church of Christ.  For information on The United Church of Christ, please visit www.ucc.org.
